Marine Corps BCP Standards (MCO 6110.3A)
While the Army, Air Force, and Navy adopted a 0.550 Waist-to-Height Ratio threshold, the United States Marine Corps enacted a more rigorous threshold of 0.520 to reflect high combat physical conditioning demands.
Marines must maintain a waist circumference strictly less than 52% of their total standing height to avoid enrollment in the Body Composition Program (BCP).
